Facebook Profit Doubled on Mobile Advertising


Facebook’s profit increased by 61% as more companies are using social media to advertise their products and services, with mobile advertising accounting for 62% of the social media giant’s revenues, up from 30% a year ago. US Airways is under scrutiny for sending out a Twitter message with a pornographic image as a response to a customer. The airline company has acknowledged that the image indeed came from their twitter account, and that they are currently investigating the matter. Although the image was removed ever since, the image has been posted across the internet. US Airways has 422,000 Twitter followers.
