Rumors are spreading like wildfire in the tech world as Microsoft prepares for a preview event on September 30 – a potential unveiling of their new operating system, Windows 9.
Let’s face it, not everyone was impressed with Windows 8, as some features were heavily criticized, such as the Charms Bar – the floating panel on the desktop that was a visual distraction, with some experts calling it “awkward”. New features will be made available to the Windows 9 such as interactive tiles, a new mini Start menu and a voice recognition system called Cortana, the digital assistant that is already available on the Windows Phone.
