Facebook’s profit increased by 61% as more companies are using social media to advertise their products and services, with mobile advertising accounting for 62% of the social media giant’s revenues, up from 30% a year ago.
Facebook has invested in research showing companies how effective advertising on their platform is, with efforts in premium video advertising to entice large scale companies. Facebook can be used as a marketing tool to benefit real estate advertisers, financial advisers and other companies to promote their services.
