Cleaning your car is a thing of the past with the new innovation from Nissan. The new prototype is dubbed “self cleaning” as the car manufacturer experiments with special super – hydrophobic paint called Ultra-Ever Dry that repels dirt and water on the car’s surface. This new innovation has been tested on the Nissan Note which was able to repel satisfactorily to sleet, frost and water.
Super – hydrophobic coating has been used by several companies to develop dirt resistant materials, from clothing to electronic components. The self cleaning paint from Nissan will not be available for standard car models, but will be offered as a follow – on product.
To see the self cleaning paint in action, read more about this on the Sydney Morning Herald website.
